Current Term    4/12 thru 4/15

My wife, Sharon, and I moved to Monterey from Southern California five years ago. Currently, I am employed as a full time Physician Assistant at a local hospital emergency department. I joined the Center for Photographic Art as a member two years ago. Soon after that, I began volunteering as a docent. My involvement with CPA grew as I began helping out with other events such as the auction. I really enjoyed my volunteer work and I also enjoyed working with other volunteers at CPA. In April of this year I accepted an invitation to become a member of the CPA Board of Trustees.

My interest in photography started when I became the photographer for my high school yearbook. Photography has always been a great hobby for me. For years I shot with film. Then in 2008, Sharon and I took a trip to Alaska where I realized that I was the only person on the trip shooting film. After discussing the merits of digital photography with another photographer, I became a convert to the digital side of the medium. That singular change in course has caused my interest in photography to become even greater.
