Jane Olin expresses her passion for truth through metaphor. She delves into the intimate depths of the soul of things. Her images are created by shining the light from her heart through the lens of her camera. From this fusion, her elegantly tuned vision and finely honed sensibility present the seen and unseen melding as one into a haunting image.
During the past eighteen years, Olin's exquisitely crafted photographs have been consistently exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. Her work has been featured in numerous photography and fine-art galleries, museums, and universities. Her photographs reside in private and public collections.
Jane Olin most recently won first place, Pen and Brush Gallery, New York; Honorable mention, Camera Club of New York; and second place, National Association of Women Artists, New York. Ms. Olin was honored to be inducted as a member of the exclusive National Association of Women Artists at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2008.
