2012-2013 JOHN SEXTON PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS ANNOUNCED

John Sexton has announced his 2012-2013 John Sexton Photography Workshops schedule. John taught my first photography workshop in 1975, and since that time he has conducted literally hundreds of workshops with thousands of participants.

John is offering his always popular The Expressive Black and White Print workshop for the 29th consecutive year. This workshop, along with his Fine Tuning the Expressive Print workshop, emphasize the traditional photographic process. In addition, John will be teaching two workshops with his longtime friend, and talented photographer, Charles Cramer that are ideal for both digital and traditional photographers. The two workshops are Mono Lake and the Eastern Sierra: Exploring Autumn Light this October, and The Luminous Print: A Synthesis of Traditional and Digital in March 2013.

Click here http://johnsexton.com/schedule.html for a detailed listing of workshops offered in this year and early 2013. On that web page you will also find links where you can download a PDF version of the illustrated 2012-2013 John Sexton Photography Workshops brochure.

Early registration is suggested as John’s workshops often fill very quickly.

The best way to get the latest information on John’s workshops, exhibitions, publications, and other news is to be a subscriber to his email newsletter. You can subscribe by visiting John’s web site: www.johnsexton.com.

Jim Kasson has decided to leave the CPA Board of Trustees to devote more time to his photography. Jim is the immediate past president of the Board, having served in that role from March, 2009 through December, 2011. He was instrumental in the CPA’s recent transition to its current state of well-being. Jim’s involvement with the CPA goes back well over ten years. He has been a major supporter, fundraiser and leader. Jim plans to continue his support of the CPA, and will be leading a workshop at the end of March. We are grateful for his many years of service, and we are all looking forward to seeing the further development of his outstanding photography. Many thanks and good luck to you, Jim!
